Sustainable Agriculture Through Biotechnology

Azospirillum Special

Azospirillum is a Gram negative free-living nitrogen-fixing bacteria. When applied in the soil, azospirillum fixes the atmospheric nitrogen and makes it available to the plants. It could replace 25-50% of the chemical nitrogen fertilizer required by plants.

Crops: Paddy, Sorghum, Vegetables, Maize, Wheat and Bajra

Azotobacter spp.

A nitrogen fixing, non-symbiotic, free living bacteria that enriches soil fertility and promotes plant growth.

Bacillus thuringiensis

Bacillus thuringiensis is a Gram-positive, soil dwelling bacterium described as a cornerstone of modern agriculture. Spores and crystalline insecticidal proteins are used as specific insecticides. Because of their specificity, these pesticides are regarded as environmentally friendly, with little or no effect on humans, wildlife, pollinators, and most other beneficial insects.

Humic Acid Granules

Effectively stimulates plant enzymes, vitamins, minerals and promotes photosynthesis. Ensures good seed germination, root formation and shoot growth. Increases water holding capacity in soil with good increase in crop yield.

Nitrobenzene

An organic compound (C6H5NO2) used as a plant growth stimulant. Water-insoluble pale yellow oil used as a solvent and in specialty agricultural applications.

Plant Hormones

A combination of plant stimulants containing all essential plant enzymes derived from natural products. Applied as foliar spray at the dose of 100ml per acre of field. Recommended for all crops.

Pseudomonas fluorescens 0.5% WP

Bacterial formulation containing cells, antibiotics and plant growth hormones of Pseudomonas fluorescens. Used as a potent bio-fungicide, plant growth promoter, phosphate solubilizer and plant systemic resistance inducer.

Rhizobium spp.

Rhizobium sp. is the symbiotic nitrogen fixer which fixes atmospheric nitrogen in the root nodule, formed in the roots of leguminous plants.

Crops: Ground nut, Black gram, Green gram, Red gram, Cow pea, Bengal gram, Mustard, Soy bean, French bean, Cluster bean, Lab-Lab, Sesbania sp, Leguminous trees

Trichoderma harzianum 1.15% WP

A good bio-fungicide recommended for seed treatment, soil and foliar application. Controls various fungal diseases like botrytis, fusarium, penicillium, pythium, etc.

Trichoderma viride 1.0% WP

T. viride is one of the extensively used and promising bio-fungicides. It produces compounds that are fungicidal in nature and grows faster than disease-causing fungi, making the environment unsuitable for pathogenic fungi to survive.
